This time, shooting outside on a glorious summer’s day (yes, it is official, summer started today), Dave
Shaw continued the tradition of monthly Robin Hoods from Burscough Archers to make him the 8th member of the
BA Robin Hood Club. It just happens to be the first day of the month which of course means there’s another 29 days to make it
two in the month. Shooting at 30 yards, fellow member Alan, shooting alongside, commented “that’s sticking out a bit from the
face”. Only when they approached the target did they see what had happened. At least, they’re both his own
arrows and, from the picture, he’s not looking too upset about the replacement cost.
